Katarzynki or Andrzejki? We celebrate our way
Everyone knows Andrzejki, but fewer recall its male equivalent. Katarzynki, held on St Catherine’s Eve (24/25 November), were traditionally an evening of fortune-telling for bachelors. At Park Hotel, it is especially meaningful: our first guests arrived on Katarzynki, 25 November 2024. Each year on the Andrzejki weekend, we invite you to Katarzynki—an evening of music, wine and fun for everyone. Combining both traditions, we also offer Andrzejki fortune-telling! An evening fortune-teller will reveal a glimpse of the future to unmarried women and men.
Katarzynki Concert ticket – PLN 199/person
Ticket includes:
- 21:00–23:00 – Żuki concert. 100 minutes of live music. Żuki are a renowned Bydgoszcz band known for their spectacular interpretations of The Beatles and Polish and international rock hits. Expect guitars, hit songs and plenty of energy.
- 23:00–01:00 – DJ after party. After Żuki’s final song, DJ Jaro US takes the stage; dance until 1:00.

VIP ticket: The Beatles-inspired tasting dinner + Żuki concert
Before the first chord, join us for a dinner where each dish references a different Beatles hit. Four courses, four glasses of wine.
- Welcome: a glass of Faust Sekt Martinsthaler Wildsau Riesling.
- “Strawberry Fields Forever”: smoked salmon with cream cheese, fresh cucumber and strawberry, with a strawberry-balsamic accent, dill and crispy Parmesan. Served with pink Volver Tarima Rose Alicante.
- “Penny Lane”: green pea cream served tableside, with a goat cheese quenelle, sugar snap peas, pickled radish, baby carrot and crispy cheddar.
- “A Hard Day's Night”: beef tenderloin Wellington with mushroom duxelles, prosciutto and puff pastry, served with potato purée, baby carrot, green beans and pepper-Madeira sauce poured tableside. Served with Domaine Bousquet Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina.
- “Honey Pie”: honey tart with baked apple and vanilla, honey-port sauce and a nutty note. Served with Casca Wines Portie Vinho do Porto Fine Ruby DO.
Price: PLN 300/person until 31 October 2026, PLN 400/person from 1 November. Dinner is extra: concert ticket + dinner PLN 499/person presale, then PLN 599/person.

What is the difference between Katarzynki and Andrzejki?
Traditionally, Andrzejki (29/30 November) is an evening of fortune-telling for unmarried women, while Katarzynki (24/25 November) is for bachelors. Park Hotel celebrates Katarzynki because it marks the hotel’s opening day.
How much does the Andrzejki event at Park Hotel Bydgoszcz cost?
