First Holy Communion is a special moment in a child's and family's life—a time for celebration, not hours of preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Having organized family events for years, Park Hotel knows which elements matter most.

  1. Choose the right room: The room size should match the number of guests—there must be comfortable seating, clear walkways, and space for children to spend time after lunch. Park Hotel Bydgoszcz offers five air-conditioned rooms, suitable for both intimate lunches and larger family gatherings.
  2. Match the menu for children and adults: The communion menu should be festive but not overly elaborate—you should combine dishes appealing to adults with simpler options for children. Before the event, we collect information on allergies, intolerances, and special diets so every guest feels comfortable at the table. A communion cake, sweet buffet, or selection of small desserts can complete the meal—the quality and pacing matter more than the number of dishes.
  3. Allow time for relaxed celebration: Avoid planning every minute of the event. After the church ceremony, the child may be tired, so the schedule includes time for lunch, cake, family photos, plus rest, conversation, and free play.
  4. Think about the youngest guests: Children won’t want to sit at the table the whole time. A play corner or age-appropriate activities for the little ones let them enjoy themselves while adults can chat calmly.
  5. Don’t do everything yourself: When organizing the communion at Park Hotel, you don’t have to worry about preparations, service, or cleaning. You plan the room, menu, table decorations, cake, sweet buffet, and children’s activities all in one place—letting you stay close to the child and enjoy the day together, instead of supervising the kitchen and other event details.
