Museum of Soap and History of Dirt – the only place of its kind in Europe
Museum of Soap and History of Dirt in Bydgoszcz is the only museum of its kind in Europe and one of the most original attractions in the city. It is a place that tells the story of hygiene, daily habits, and... dirty secrets of past epochs in an unusual, funny, and interactive way. An ideal suggestion for families with children, couples, and everyone who enjoys sightseeing with a sense of humor.
The tour begins with soap workshops, during which each participant makes their own soap by hand – a souvenir they take home at the end of the visit. Then guests are invited to a guided tour full of surprising facts, anecdotes, and humorous stories about hygiene through the ages.
The entire meeting lasts about 50 minutes and combines education with good fun. Due to the workshop form of the tour, the number of places per session is limited, so advance ticket purchase is recommended to guarantee participation in the workshops and tour.
